Our two Manhattan photo studios are located at 123 Bowery, south of Houston and north of Canal, near the New Museum and SoHo. Close to tons of trains (B, D, F, M, 6, N, Q, R, J, Z).

We have 2 equal sized studios at 123 Bowery, 3rd floor. Studios are each 1200 square feet with 20 foot cyc walls plus overhead light grid. We have double paned windows and ceiling mounted acoustic baffling for sound recording/video work.

In addition, Studio 1 has a private makeup room.

Customers may rent one or both studios.

Comes with free equipment including strobes, continuous video lighting package, grip, seamless paper, stands, v-flats, apple boxes, and sandbags. See full gear list to the right on this page.

Amenities and Gear:

20 foot cyclorama in each studio

1200 square feet per studio

2 Profoto D1 Air monolight strobes (extra cost of $30/day each or $15 each for half days.). Light modifiers below are free.

3 Bowens mount strobes (free)

Light modifiers (1x 7 ft umbrella, 1x softbox, and 1x strip box). Note we have speedrings to attach either Profot or Bowens strobes.

Private makeup room in Studio 1 with two makeup stations

Private bathroom for each studio

Two rows of double-paned windows plus acoustical ceiling tiles for quiet sound recording. Great for recording interviews and voice. (No live bands).

Porter service to carry equipment upstairs (upon request), since we are two flights up with no elevator.

Each studio has the following equipment:

3 x C-stands (per studio)

4 Apple boxes + 6 sandbags (per studio)

Seamless rack (per studio)

High speed internet

Air conditioning

1 x clothing rack (per studio)

Makeup station (per studio)

1 x clothing steamer (per studio)

4 V-flats (per studio)

Plenty of cables, extension cords, grip, gaff

2 folding tables and 15 folding metal chairs to share between both studios

Natural light in both studios (not on cyclorama) with blackout curtains.

$75/hr for Studio 1

$92/hr for Studio 2
